The diverse experience of our team allows us to assist clients with all aspects of investment projects in Russia and abroad.
We negotiate and devise tax and corporate structures and transaction financing schemes, as well as advise on antitrust, anticorruption, environmental and urban planning and other regulatory requirements. We assist our clients with rental contracts, real estate purchases and construction contracts, and we conduct legal due diligence of assets and counterparties.
All lawyers in our team speak English fluently. Many of them have worked in international law firms, and some are admitted to practice in other jurisdictions. This enables us to advise not only on investment projects in Russia, but also abroad. We have established working relationships with local counsel in countries where Russian companies often do business, and are well placed to recommend reliable consultants and coordinate their work.

- Advising a Chinese IT company, the owner of a world's leading mobile app, on matters connecting with entering the Russian market, inter alia, on compliance with Russian advertising and personal data protection regulations, as well as analyzing and elaborating contracts of various types
- Advising a Russian investor on various legal matters, including, inter alia, structuring of ownership rights to large land plots, acquisition of a convertible promissory note in a USA start-up, as well as a number of taxation matters
- Legal support of mining companies in Ethiopia upon requests of a Russian investor, including, bringing corporate and internal documents of the companies to the international standards
- Advising a Russian investor on acquisition of corporate control in a UK company, whose branch is engaged into exploration of gold deposits in Ethiopia, including Due Diligence of the assets to be acquired
- Advising a Russian investor on the acquisition of corporate control in a Russian company holding a Russian gold exploration license, including Due Diligence of the assets to be acquired and full legal support of the deal
- Advising a Russian investor in a corporate dispute with his partners in Ethiopian gold mining businesses, including initiation of fraud investigations and litigation in several jurisdictions, namely in Ethiopia, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Israel
- Advising a Russian investor on establishing a Slovakian JV for gems extraction and selling together with Ethiopian, Israeli and Slovakian partners
- Advising a Swiss production company on establishing a representative office in Russia, as well as making all necessary documents
- Advising a Russian investor on tax issues with regards to her beneficiary rights in a Lichtenstein fund
- Advising a Russian investor on an acquisition of gold assets in Ethiopia and the establishment of a joint venture with Israeli partners
- Advising an internet start-up on a sale of shares to a strategic investor
- Advising a European consumer products company on the establishment of a joint venture with Skolkovo Fund for joint investments into biotechnological, pharmaceutical and medical companies
- Advising Indian company, Tata Tea, on its acquisition of the Russian tea and coffee producer, Grand
- Advising HSH Nordbank on a €49 million financing to Raven Russia for the construction of an A class warehouse in the Moscow region
- Advising EBRD, Northern Investment Bank and the European Investment Bank on a €60 million multi-stage financing for the modernisation of water treatment plants by Vodokanal St Petersburg
- Advising the International Finance Corporation on a US$119 million financing to Eurosib for the construction of logistics terminals
- Advising a Russian venture company (with state participation) on strategic investments in a group of companies engaged in the development and production of hydrocarbon nanotubes
- Advising an international financial organisation on loan facilities to OMK group, Ramstore supermarkets and a leasing company
- Advising a Russian company engaged in the construction and leasing of storage servers, on raising financing
